SO, I suppose since its now December, that means that 2012 is about over. When did that happen? When I was a kid and felt like Christmas would NEVER come and summer break was FOREVER AWAY, my mom would say, "enjoy the slow movement of time, because as you get older, times moves more quickly". Well, don't tell my mother....but she was right. My baby girl will turn 5 at the end of this month. My 6 year old wants earrings and make-up. My 8 year old is creating mathematics short cuts for multiplication tables and adding 3 digit numbers in his head. Having big kids makes me think I should feel old....more mature perhaps. But I still feel like a high schooler who happened to find a great husband and then had three kids. When should I expect to feel like a grown up?

I love Autumn!
I went with Jenna on her Pre-School field trip to the local pumpkin patch. We had a blast!
Jenna picked a cute pumpkin! (Don't you think MY little pumpkin is cute, too?)
Jenna and a few of her friends with their pumpkin picks.
So proud of her pumpkin!
A pink tricycle? Yes, please!
A little see-sawing with Aiden!
Jenna loves the BIG slide.
Time for some jumping!
...still time for jumping....Jenna are you done jumping yet?
A week later, the big kids had a day off of school so we played at the patch for a while.
Brock was not pleased with this scarecrow.
Headed to the pumpkins...
...picks of the season.
Winter is approaching fast! We hope you had a great fall!
We have been to an air show in Wichita before (did you know its the "Air Capital"?) but this was the first time we ewnt to the one on the Air Force base. It was very exciting and a lot of fun!
Coming in for a landing.
Checking out the huge jet!
Not the most comfortable seating...
Not sure why I took this is a picture ..I guess to see the equipment.
How do they get these enormous things to fly?!
Cutest cargo I've seen!
Brock was in military mecca!
Is that granade live?
Hey Mom, I know what I want on my Christmas list!
Air Force Thunder birds! These guys were by far the coolest thing there. They did a bunch of stunt flying - it was amazing! They would get really close together and fly right towards each other then turn at the last second - very intense and exciting! Living in Wichita has a few perks ;)

OK, so its November and I am blogging abut September. Don't judge me!
My parents came during Labor day weekend for a visit and to celebrate my mother's birthday!
My kids always enjoy having Frufru and Pa come visit. I made a yummy chocolate cake and my dad picked up a Razzleberry pie - good times!
I'm pretty sure Jenna cheated at Candyland...seems like it was always her turn, but they had fun.
We got a new tent to break in over the weekend, but it was 110 degrees so opted to wait until fall.
But we broke in the tent anyway, in the backyard during our BBQ.
After my parents left, we still had James for a few more days, so we went bowling!
We were all pretty terrible, but we had fun!
The Weenie Mobile! Right here in Andover.
We finally went to eat at "Timbuktu"here in Andover with the famous, number one burger in all of Kansas! It was good...but I don't know about number one in the whole state. I asked for lettuce and tomato on my burger and they said they don't have any veggies on the menu. Oh. Ok then. But they had cute wooden cut outs that the kids enjoyed.
Jake turned 33 (my lucky number!) this year and the flames show it all! This spoiledy got two cakes because he couldn't choose which frosting he wanted.
"Who ate what? The chair? What chair? This chair? Oh, I'm not sure...wasn't me."
When Brock eats an apple - he means business.
Thanks for playing catch up with us!

All three kiddos were on a fall sport team this year. What was I thinking? We were very busy...but they kids had a lot of fun and did very well.
Here he is at center. He decided he will pass on soccer in the spring and do another season of football.
Setting up to block.
About to make a catch in the end zone! (If you look closely, you can see the ball just to the right of the trees above the red car.)
I think miss Allie is my most naturally athletic child. Everything seems to come pretty easy for her. She is very fast, very aggressive, and seems to understand the proper angles needed to make a good steal or a goal.
Her team was the "Pink Ninjas" and one of the moms on the team made the girls black ninja headbands. With their matching pink socks from coach, they always looked so cute!
As first graders, they were ready to play with goalies. Allie liked taking a turn in the goal, she made quite a wall - tough to pass!
Winding up for a power shot!
Well, now we are on to basketball! But only Brock and Allie. I will have Jenna to tumbling and swimming...I mean come on... I am only human! Come watch us play!
